Responsibilities
• Hands-on coding in an agile/scrum environment
• Helping to plan the architecture of an internet publishing platform
• Serving as a technology "entrepreneur "within the organization to generate appropriate tech solutions for business goals

Experience
Required experience
• 3+ years experience developing in PHP
• 3+ years of MySQL experience
• Experience across the software development lifecycle, specifically with design, development, and testing
• Experience designing, as well as interacting with, relational databases, including MySQL

Candidates with the following skills will have an advantage
• Experience with Jquery, AJAX, Ext JS
• Experience with CakePHP
• Expert on a LAMP stack, including Apache, MySQL, and navigating & scripting within Linux
• Updated and expert level web development skills - e.g. multi browser/platform debugging, sessions, forms
• Excellent organizational, time management and communication skills
• Ability and desire to pick up new technologies quickly

Education
BS/MS in Computer Science or relevant tech field; 5+ years of relevant experience may be seen as comparable.
